Why We Started

We’re two sisters native to the Northern Virginia area, who saw a critical missing piece in the fitness world - access to fitness services for those in their golden years. Active Aging is a personal training service dedicated to helping adults 65 and older stay strong, balanced, and independent through safe, personalized in-home fitness programs.

Founded by two siblings inspired by their grandmother, Active Aging brings compassion, energy, and expertise to every session.

Whether you’re new to exercise or looking to stay active for years to come, we’ll meet you where you are and help you move toward your healthiest, most confident self.

Morgan Hoskins, co-founder

B.S. Kinesiology and Exercise Science, Certified Personal Trainer 7+ Years

As a certified personal trainer with a background in Exercise Science and years of experience coaching adults to better health, I’m passionate about helping people thrive at every stage of life. I’ve seen how often older adults are overlooked in the fitness world, and I’m committed to making safe, effective, and enjoyable movement accessible for everyone.

With Active Aging, my sister and I bring expert, compassionate training right to your door—focusing on building strength, improving balance, and supporting independence. My mission is to empower you to feel confident and strong in your body, so you can keep living life on your terms.

Certified Personal Trainer

Hi, I’m Whitney Hoskins, co-founder of Active Aging, a personal training service dedicated to helping adults 65 and older stay strong, confident, and independent through movement.

As an in-home personal trainer, I take a very hands-on, supportive, and personalized approach with every client. I work closely with you during each session — guiding proper movement, ensuring safety, and creating workouts tailored to your goals, abilities, and comfort level.

My coaching style is patient, practical, and personable. I meet you exactly where you are in your fitness journey and help you build strength, balance, and confidence at a pace that feels right for you. For me, fitness isn’t just about exercise — it’s about improving day-to-day living and helping you feel more capable in your own body.
